### Groundwater 2026 from First Avenue: 15 minutes on the Oceanway to a free festival

The Groundwater Country Music Festival returns to Broadbeach on 16 to 18 October 2026, free across more than a dozen stages spread through the suburb. From Viscount the festival is a 15-minute walk south along the Oceanway, no road crossings.

### Pacific Airshow Gold Coast 2026: a balcony view from the quieter end

The Pacific Airshow returns to Surfers Paradise on 14 to 16 August 2026. The display flies over the ocean opposite Cavill Avenue, a 20-minute walk north up the Oceanway from First Avenue. Upper-floor balconies at Viscount catch the show without leaving the apartment.

### Gold Coast 500 2026: walk in for the race, sleep south of the circuit

The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 runs 23 to 25 October 2026. The street circuit sits in central Surfers Paradise; Viscount sits at the southern toe of the suburb, a 20-minute walk north up the Oceanway from the gates.

They've created an unmatched atmosphere of ease and comfort. I'm in my late 20s and every time I went through reception I felt like I was saying hello and good morning to my mum. So accommodating and thoughtful to my family, especially with a two year old.

> Right on the beach, and you do not have the road traffic noise of the Esplanade. The rooftop area is fantastic, with a sauna, BBQ and spa with a view to die for. Easy walk into Surfers of about 2.5 km, or 1 km to the Broadbeach precinct. The apartment was spacious and we loved that it felt very private, bright and open.

> We stayed for 10 nights on the 8th floor. 3 bedrooms and the place was great. With 6 people it was spacious, good kitchen and lounge. The facilities were excellent: swimming pool, BBQ area, sauna and spa were great. 10 minute walk to Broadbeach mall and 15 minutes to Cavill Ave, and the big plus, the beach right outside the door.

> Great location. Bike and walking path takes you in both directions, so we bought coffee from Synergy different each morning. Not far to the flags for swimming, and the view is incredible. We used the rooftop BBQ area twice when family came to visit and it was a wonderful set-up. Drinks fridge, clean BBQ, sink and plenty of seating, all with the best view possible.
